Commonly referred to as NPHX Church, this location has been run by Pastor Noe Garcia since 2016. The North Phoenix Baptist Church has a mission to reach out to people across the Valley and arm them with the gospel of Jesus Christ. As one of the best baptist churches in Phoenix, NPHX offers Growth Track classes, baptism, connected church groups, and service projects.

Their beliefs encompass the Bible, the importance of salvation through Christ, and the importance of understanding the difference between local and universal church.

2. Dream City Church

3. Vineyard Church North Phoenix

One of the largest Orthodox Christian churches in Phoenix was started in 1985 by Senior Pastor Brian T. Anderson. With Christ-centered views, Vineyard Church North Phoenix teaches from the Bible as they empower people with the Spirit to be more socially engaged and culturally diverse. Over the years, it has grown into one of the largest Phoenix churches.

4. Hillsong Church

Before moving their church to Phoenix, Brian and Bobbie Houston started Hillsong Church in 1983 overseas in Sydney, Australia. Now serving the Valley, they strive every day to help people love God, love people, and build the church together

5. Phoenix Church of Christ

Holding their services at the Pure Heart Church on Sundays and at Peoria High School on Wednesday nights, Steve and Keri Hiddleson head the way for the non-denominational Phoenix Church of Christ. 7. St. Joseph Catholic Church – Phoenix

One of the best Roman Catholic churches in Phoenix can be found at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Even though their main building burned down in April 2019, they still hold mass in one of the campus meeting rooms every week. Led by Priest Regidor Carreon known by members as “Father Reggie” they offer a variety of standard Catholic ceremonies including infant baptism, adult baptism, reconciliation, holy eucharist, marriage, and anointings.

8. Christ Church Lutheran – Phoenix

9. New City Church of Phoenix

The New City Church is one of the newest churches in Phoenix that you’ll find on this list. Less than a decade old, this non-denominational congregation is led by Pastor Brian Kruckenberg. Their mission is to lead people as they become disciples who share the message of Jesus Christ to their family, friends, and co-workers for the benefit of the city.

10. Christ’s Church of the Valley
